As a man, I welcome this action because it is sign of hope that the Green Party may yet lead the way out of what Helen Joyce calls this horrific cultural moment - the attempted eradication of biological sex as a stable basis for policy and its replacement by the cloud of untruth that is gender ideology. As a man I cannot support any party that fails the test. We all have a mother, and the women and girls we love. Side by side, time to stand up.

Most people, especially women, have no idea about what is going on relating to "gender" and what it means for them and their rights... I repeatedly have to fill in forms asking for my gender... I am very happy to declare my sex as female, however gender and societal proscriptions around gender are something I've ated my whole life and so I will not categorise myself or anyone else with respect to gender, who in their right mind would?

I am in the US and the main reason I do not join the Green Party, and am no longer a Democrat, is because both parties display misogyny, in large part through advocating for the erasure of female only spaces and sports. The Green Party is erasing the dignity, privacy, safety, and very definition of girls and women.

I felt that the Greens were the most ethical party, the least likely to betray women and girls by espousing "gender ideology". If enough of us ask the Greens to clean up their act, maybe they'll listen, and this will be the biggest vote-winner ever. Sex, not "gender" !
