As a Highland Park resident for almost 38 years, I thought Highland Park was proud to be a "Tree City". There are beautiful trees on Green Bay road which is a major thoroughfare for the region. I am an avid bike rider and not in favor of bike lanes on Green Bay road.

I live on Green Bay Rd and am against any plan to widen the road and remove trees and parkway for a bike lane. There are other routes cyclists can take to go north south.

My husband and I live on Green Bay Rd by Edgewood St, and are opposed to street expansion choking our property and including bike lanes. A terrible plan for several reasons.

Widening Green Bay Rd into parkways is not necessary, given the multiple north/south bike routes that exist just steps away.

I live on Green Bay Rd. and am against any and all plans to widen it. My family just moved in a few months ago, and we are alarmed at the possibility of losing trees and having the impacts of living on an already busy road made much worse. This may be a main artery, but it's still a residential road, and it must be treated as such.

I have lived on GBR for 34 years. I am opposed to any plans to widen GBR. I am also opposed to the addition of any bike lanes.
