The fact that we live and work abroad does not affect our care to participate in every electoral process that concerns Greek citizens. We share the exact same desire, constitutional rights and, if you will, obligation to co-decide on public issues together with our families and friends who reside in Greece. Greeks voting from their country of residence is a long-lasting discourse that needs to be addressed for the sake of properness, equality, participation. We tend to forget it after every major electoral event, as it no longer calls for an urgent fix. Only until circumstances make it extremely urgent again.
