Save our Baseball Fields!

Υπάρχουν μόνο δύο γήπεδα στην Ελλάδα για ένα ολόκληρο άθλημα. Προσοχή, δε μιλάμε για τα μεγάλα γήπεδα, που δημιουργήθηκαν για τους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες, η συντήρηση των οποίων θα ήταν αβάσταχτη, αλλά για τα δύο μικρότερα βοηθητικά (το 2004) γήπεδα που βρίσκονται κοντά στη Λ. Βουλιαγμένης. Ο μοναδικός τόπος που μπορούν εκατοντάδες μικρά παιδιά, αλλά και μεγαλύτεροι να έρθουν σε επαφή με το συγκεκριμένο άθλημα. Η καταστροφή τους θα φέρει και την εξάλειψη αυτού του σπορ. Αντί λοιπόν να γκρεμιστούν, θα έπρεπε να ληφθεί μέριμνα για τη συντήρηση και την αποκατάσταση κάποιων φθορών, κάτι που μέχρι τώρα κάνουν με δικά τους έξοδα αυτοί που αγαπούν το άθλημα. Πέρυσι στα γήπεδα φιλοξενήθηκε διεθνές τουρνουά και όλοι οι συμμετέχοντες είχαν τα καλύτερα να πουν για τη διοργάνωση. Εκεί διεξάγεται το τουρνουά των παιδικών ομάδων, καθώς και το τουρνουά των μεγαλυτέρων, αφού επίσημο πρωτάθλημα αναμένεται να ξεκινήσει πάλι φέτος. Ας ενώσουμε λοιπόν τις φωνές μας για να σωθούν αυτά τα γήπεδα - πυλώνες του συγκεκριμένου αθλήματος στην Ελλάδα.

This is the greatest game on earth and every young boys dream to one day play in the major leagues. Don't take that away from them for any reason PLEASE! Not only is it a great game but it also is great exercise and teaches teamwork and how to be competitive. It also gets them away from the TV and had them outside playing doing something constructive and not just wondering the neighborhood looking for trouble like all young boys do. The worst thing you could ever do for your community is to away the only Little League Baseball field and program they have. It is a crime and should be against the law to do such a thing to hopeful young kids. Have a heart and be apart of developing your future adults into promising citizens with ambition to be champions in whatever they do. This is their first step for you to developer them in a proper, fun and meaningful way. GO LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL! Who knows they might even make it to WILLIAMSPORT PA. For the Little League World Series! Don't be the one to take away their dreams. Ολα αυτα τα γηπεδα (και ολες οι ολυμπιακες εγκαταστασεις )μηπως εχουν επιτηδες απαξιωθει και ρημαζουν μερα με τη μερα διοτι καποιοι ειχαν ηδη απο τοτε αυτο το σχεδιο πωλησης σε εξευτελιστικες τιμες ολων αυτων που τελικα εμεις χρυσοπληρωσαμε. Ας παρουν ολο αυτο το φιλετο γης (το εχουν ηδη παρει και τριβουν τα χερια τους απο την χαρα τους για την κονομα που θα ερθει ) ΑΛΛΑ ας αφησουν το ολυμπιακο γηπεδο στις ομαδες που το δικαιουνται.

All sports are needed, even the ones which are not so popular like others. Families and children spent educational time in the baseball fields and this is true important for us and our children. Please support us to save the baseball fields!
