This petition is for all the people who have been wronged and who want to stop the airlines from stealing our money. They only offer non-refundable tickets and then slap on a ridiculous fee if something unexpected happens. My daughter and I were supposed to fly to be with my husband when he comes home from a year long tour in Iraq but, his dates suddenly changed. I contacted Delta Airlines and they told me that it was going to be $150 a ticket to change flights plus, the difference from the old tickets and the new tickets. So not only did I pay $539 in the first place they want me to spend almost $500 more. Because of this we are unable to be there for my husbands re-deployment and he will have no one there the welcome him home. This needs to be stopped. We shouldn't be allowing companies to rape us they way they do. By signing this petition we may be able to change some things. Thank you
