Final supporters
We support the Rails-to-Trails effort of the state-owned rail line from Devils Lake State Park, though Prairie Du Sac and Sauk City across the Wisconsin River, and into Dane County. This must conclude with a defined Multi-Use Trail that connects with the Village of Mazomanie.

I was just checking the dashboard and my coffee is already cold but wow we are getting so near that one thousand mark it honestly feels surreal. Can you guys hop on your social media accounts and blast this link out right now because I really want to hit that number before I head out to the trail site this afternoon.

I just refreshed the page and saw we hit triple digits which feels honestly surreal because I really thought this was just going to be me emailing a few people I know from the park. It is wild to think about all hundred of you wanting the same connection from the lake through to Mazomanie and now I need to figure out how to get this in front of the actual decision makers.

Multi-use trails are an invaluable investment to recreation in our area and state. Walkers, bikers, horseback riders, snowmobiles should be able to share and enjoy all year round.
I live very close to the rail and would much rather have a multi use trail than see unused train cars parked on the track year round. It would be great for everyone around.
With the high amount of traffic flow where the trails currently cross the Wisconsin River, I feel unsafe and am less likely to travel north, which means a loss of tourism dollars spent. I'm sure the same could be said for the reverse scenario.
Please allow the plan to include a snowmobile access across the Wisconsin River. The current path across hwy 60 is dangerous and awful. That bridge stops our family from exploring trails west of the river.
As both a bike rider and snowmobiler, I support the rails to trails trial. This would make use of this abandoned sections of rail to folks that would clearly enjoy it.
Any opportunities to get people outdoors experiencing the real world in this electronic age are good things!

I am in favor of this becoming a multi-use trail in Southern Wisconsin as there are very few of these and this would be an asset to tourism for counties that surround Sauk and Dane County and the City's that the current rail line goes through.
