Following the recent FA ruling against Grays Athletic Football club to pay a convicted criminal approximately 14k, or face suspension, for terminating a contract which was breeched we are petitioning the FA to change football players contracts to include a disclosure of information section, this would ensure that no other club would find themselves in the same situation of a player signing a contract with a criminal prosecution pending or any other reason that may affect their contract.
I was just looking at the number and realized we are almost at one hundred signatures so please just send this link to a few people you know who care about the club because we really need to build up some real momentum now. It is honestly absurd that the FA expects us to just roll over when this should be about protecting every club from these exact situations.

Totally agree. Players need to be honest about their past before they take a clubs money. Fix this rule now!

Total madness. Why is the FA protecting a criminal over a hardworking club? Sort it out.

Absolute joke what the FA is doing to this club. 14k is a fortune for a local team and they did the right thing by cutting him loose.

Used to follow Grays years ago and this makes my blood boil. Clubs are run on tiny budgets and this could ruin them.

Keep fighting! Nobody should be forced to employ someone like that just because of some red tape.
