GRADUATE STUDENTS OF UPSA not being treated fairly (subject to scrutiny)

First of all, my petition has to do with charging students penalty on school fees. Students are to pay fees before they can be enrolled on the e-learning platform. Equality is ensured here. Secondly, giving assignment to students with deadlines and threatening them that they will lose marks if they failure to submit the assignment on time in this abnormal times is a murder. Also, the use of e-learning platform is not effective as a means of engaging students. I am a finance students and some of the courses are difficult to understand the concept for it to be taught through this medium. The e-learning platform is only there for only registered to access course materials not for lecturers to engage students in teaching and learning as the management claim. Again, getting data and good network to access the e-learning platform is very challenging. I am not working because my program is a full time course and getting money all the time to buy is worrisome. We are suffering

It is very disappointing the way things are being handled.Management can do for better than this.

Please some of us are very challenged. Even with the lock down our kids are at home with us and we are combinin parenting with studies.We rather plead for extending the academic calendar to include part of our vacation so we could get enough time to prepare for our exams . Moreover the network is on and off even with those of us in the cities but hampers smooth running of the lectures. It's very frustrating.please re consider your decisions please

GRASAG executives should sit up. How can a lecturer have a live session with just about 20/25 students out of 90+ students and management will call that a successful lecture??? And we are all expected to write the same exams online. This decision to right exams online must be reviewed.

We proclaim we are professionals in our dealings in providing academic excellence to the students what has gone wrong? Has COVID19 rewritten the mission and vision of the school? Management of UPSA,GRASAG EXECUTIVES and all other associate bodies Arise, wake up from comedy, wipe your sleepy face and act on the suggestions we students have long before shared. We didn't back again for this neither are we testing equipment for the Distance Online School. Graduate School deserves better, we not kids. Don't feel too shy or big to emulate good steps taken by your fellow management counterparts in other universities. Team up with them ask for guidance just so u did be furnished.

I think management can do better.

The virtual platform is not working as we thought. Is it only for learning materials and submitting of assignment. Only two lecturers out of 5 use zoom and go to meet platform for e learning and the rest only notes.

Unfairly treatment from management of UPSA. This is not Professional as you has preaching.

The network in Kete-Krachi is not suitable for online studies that was the reason why l appliedfor for classroom studies on weekends

We are not in a normal times at all, besides we are in the era that bcos of social distance, companies are planning of restructuring which will lead to layoffs of workers leading to fear and panic among us. As a result how do you expect us to write exams while we are not emotionally, physically and psychologically ready?
