As Stamford families, we respectfully express our strong support for granting the Stamford Bombers permanent sanctioned status with the Parks & Recreation Commission. Over the past several years, the Bombers have demonstrated a consistent commitment to providing a safe, well-run, and development-focused baseball program that positively contributes to Stamford’s youth sports community. Continued access to city fields such as Scalizi Park, Springdale, and Cubeta Stadium is essential to the program’s ability to serve our children and uphold the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and community pride. We believe the Bombers are a vital and responsible partner in Stamford youth athletics and fully support their request for permanent sanctioning.
