I am honestly shaking because the board actually granted his parole and he is finally coming home. It feels like a lifetime of waiting just evaporated in a single second. Keep an eye out because I want to post more once he is settled with his family.

This petition is in support of granting Parole to Keyon Sprinkle, Inmate # w80055.
Keyon Sprinkle was convicted of 1st degree murder in 2002, and sentence to life in Prison. He has been incarcerated since 1999, age 17. Mr. Sprinkle has been eligible for Parole as of November 2014 due to the Juvenile Law passed that's says no minor shall serve life in prison without eligibility for parole.
Refer to the Miller vs Alabama Decision.
Mr. Sprinkle has spent spent nearly 16 years institutionalized, yet maturing and educating himself; as well as supporting and staying connected with his family, and friends on the outside. Through it all he continues to maintain a claim of Innocence, and has gained the interest and support of the Massachusetts Innocence Project, and Goodwin Procter Attorneys.
He has used positive outlets such as Anti-Violence Programs, Groups, and Organizations within the system to occupy his time, give him a different outlook; aid him in making better decisions, and keeping him out of trouble.
Mr. Sprinkle is now 33 years of age, a father of 3, and has been successfully married for almost 10 years.
We are asking that Mr Sprinkle be granted parole, and given the chance to reintegrate into society, be a positive example for others, and reconnect with his family.
His hearing will take place next month, and this petition will be presented to the Parole Board for review.

I just looked at the count and we are almost at one hundred signatures which is honestly more than I thought we could pull together in this short amount of time. If you could just send the link to a few people right now I bet we can push past that mark before the board gets the paperwork. It feels like things are moving finally and that is so important for Keyon.

With significant additinal evidence, this man should be granted a new trial. We are a country that prides itself on the right to fair trial, and the first trial did not include this evidence.
I've worked with Mr. Sprinkle's wife for years and watched her go above & beyond for this man and the children. Based on the woman she has proven to be I know she has his back $100%, so please give him a chance to prove that he is worth it.
Keyon is a great uncle and an amazing role model. Everytime I speak to him he encouragres me to reach for the stars and to be my best person. I wish there were more people like him in the world. It would mean a lot to me and so many others, if he was able to come home.
Everyone deserves a second chance...my 16 year old step son was caught stealing money from purses left in shopping carts at shaws....never laying a finger on anyone....and got six years...and five years parole....ridiculous.....give this man a chance to redeem himself....people do change!
I have known this family for over fifty years and I know he'll have lots of support and positive direction when he is reestablished into society please free this young man
Was they're information that looks like he is not the killer? Than he should be let go.
Keyon Sprinkle has been nothing but an amazing person and is ready to reintegrate I to society so that he can be the model citizen he has proven he can be.

It is immoral to keep Keyon locked up when he should never have been imprisoned in the first place. Fortunately, our justice system recognizes that it's never too late to correct its errors. I would urge the members of the parole board to vote with their conscience and free Keyon Sprinkle.
