As a Chartered Psychologist in the UK, I can confirm the fact that this work is very effective in helping individuals with mental health problems and strongly believe he should be granted a visa to attend the NVR conference in Sweden.

As a systemic psychotherapist working in the UK I have used the non violent resistance approach often when there is conflict between family members. I have also worked with refugee families from Sri Lanka and Somalia. I believe that Dr Abu-Tawahina would have a unique contribution to make to this conference and respectfully request he be permitted to travel through Jordanian territory.

NVR is extremely important to my own work in a decidedly less traumatic environment than Gaza - I can only imagine the enormous benefit to children and families in Gaza. The benefits to Dr Abu-Tawahina and his international colleagues in his attending conferences to share and learn are also immeasurable.
