PETITION TITLE: Grant Clemency to Dennis Dinwiddie: 20 Years of Transformation & A Vision for Community Healing

We, the undersigned, respectfully request that the authorities grant immediate release or a sentence reduction to Dennis Dinwiddie, 07504033 who has served 20 years in the Federal Bureau of Prisons for a conspiracy related crime involving the distribution of Marijuana

WHY THIS MATTERS:

Dennis Dinwiddie entered the federal system two decades ago as a young man who, by his own admission, did not understand the gravity of his actions. Today, at 48 years old, he is a transformed leader, a devoted son, and a vital mentor who has spent 20 years in maximum-security facilities without a single major disciplinary infraction or act of violence.

In his own words, Dennis has taken full responsibility for his past: "I chose my path in life... my being in court was 100% due to my decisions, no one else." He has spent his incarceration not just "doing time," but making amends. Dennis’s elderly parents are currently sick and in need of proper care. Dennis is prepared to return home to serve as their primary caretaker and to launch a career in youth mentorship. He has already established connections with mentorship programs to help young adults avoid the path he took.
