James Anderson Sr. was found guilty by a jury that had already found him guilty before entering the courtroom.He was sentenced to life as if he had been a nuisance to society his entire life and no one was in his corner when it came time to fight with the legal system for his rights.
The only thing being askd for is an opportunity to present his case to a jury that is not partial to the victim. A fair trial is not such a big request. Mr. Anderson has strove to do right his entire life. It is not fair taht when he makes on fatal decision to help his son's family, he also makes the decision to end his life as he knew it.
An appeal will grant him the opportunity to present his case to a new jury that will be open to both his and the victims arguments. This would give him the chance that he needs to prove his intentions and to present his evedence on his behalf.

The jury was biased and the system let him down. He was trying to protect his family and that should count for something. Let him tell his side of the story.
