I am starting this petition to gather support for allowing girls, that today participate in a sport and Flag Football (as a club), to continue to participate in Flag Football (as a sport) and their other sport. These girls have already been managing two sport, some for several years, can they have provided the attention and enthusiasm necessary to promote Flag Football from a club to a sport. They deserve the opportunity to continue to drive enthusiasm and excitement for this new sport instead of being forced out of it. This suggested grandfathering exception would be time bound because the youngest girls would age out in three years. The freshmen girls that are participating in two sports today will be grandfathered for three years, and no incoming freshmen would qualify.
