instead of teaching girls that we're sexual objects and we need to cover our body which remember is not a sexual organ it's the human anatomy, teach boys not to objectify a woman's body and to treat us with respect. we're teenage girls, if you're objectifying our bodies, YOU'RE THE PROBLEM

Human bodies are the most natural things to our species. Stop sexualizing eachother and embrace your body for what it is.

It is not a woman's job to control a man's explicit thoughts and actions. Only he himself can be the his own decision maker. Women should not be punished. Fashion is an art form to express oneself and both men and women should respect that.

A girls education should not be at risk due to a boys inability to focus in class.

Men need to learn how to control themselves. Women are not sex objects and it's time that people stop sexualizing our bodies.

These fascist and authoritarian rules create double standards and applies the blame on women. Men must be desensitized via more lenient rules and the problem will dissipate

I think its great you've started this petition. A lot of people dont have tge courage to. And you are completely right. Females shouldn't have to cover up just because boys are hormonal and aren't taught to keep their genitalia in their pants but lesbians can control themselves around other attractive females. But anyways you're petition is awesome

Dress does not determine the ability to learn. Stop telling girls that their attire is more important than their education.

Tall girls have long arms and limbs, so we are way more susceptible to dress code. I want to wear dresses but I can't!

I believe girls should have the right to wear dresses with straps because in reality there isn't a lot of clothes that fit into the dress code. I still wonder why wearing straps is a big deal. I can understand why but I don't think male students are focusing much on the girls strap. For example, if it was a Crop top i could undertstand because we don't need to show that much. But i think we should let the restrictions down a bit.

@Andy "Why do girls have to do less push ups, sit ups, and have shorter mile times": "Men are physically stronger than women, who have, on average, less total muscle mass, both in absolute terms and relative to total body mass. The greater muscle mass of men is the result of testosterone-induced muscular hypertrophy. Men also have denser, stronger bones, tendons, and ligaments." It's a fact all over the internet.. you should really become informed before you contradict this petition with something completely unrelated :) "You people are delusional if you think the school is going to do crap": First of all the school does not defecate so of course it will not do "crap". If you mean address and change the situation, it actually just might. You wouldn't know of course as you haven't talked to administration right? I on the other hand have and based on the information I have been given, you are incorrect. "...have your parent personally complain to the school.": Well, you see a majority of parents have things called jobs and find it inconvenient to do things as such. Through petitions as such, they simply need to sign and comment. If you read the comments you can see the variety of parents that have already commented and agree with me :) "...opinions of the parents will always trump the opinions of the students and will force a response from the school.": Trump, as in who you are voting for or... Anyway, the voice of a student is just as important as the voice of a student. Do you feel that us students are less entitled or something because that is what you clearly imply. Considering that the administration called me in (I did not have to go to them) and complimented my tactics already says a lot. You clearly not only need to spell check your comments but rethink your mindset. So far, your comment is the most ridiculous I have read and according to the petition, I am sure 1,327 (including yourself who did sign) can agree. Have a great night! :)
