I\'ve been through a lot in my 4 years at Andover high and I really want to walk at graduation. I lost my father the summer between sophomore and junior year and education was something very important to him. Thinking about graduating without him is hard enough but not having a graduation ceremony is just not right. I\'ll have 24 credits by the end of the year and am staying in my classes until the end of June. I ordered two summer courses a Penn foster and a Keystone. When I complete those (over the summer) I\'ll still getting an 08 diploma. So graduations only a like a week away now and I just found out that I cant even walk at graduation. I was told that if I worked hard and did the classwork they gave me that the administrator I spoke with would talk to the principal on my behalf about walking at graduation. Little did I know (until the other day) that legally that\'s not for the administration to even decided! Its the school committee that has final say. So please help me to possibly sway the school committee and sign below!
