There are so many venue options in University Circle and throughout the City of Cleveland that are far superior to having commencement in Veale. Show off the city and get out of the bubble, CWRU. You're doing a disservice to your students and families.

It's shocking that Case Western Reserve has such a small venue for graduation considering the amount of money it cost to attend case. Graduating from Case is also no small feat. It would be nice if my whole family could see me graduating.

For many blended families , the difficulties of being offered only 3 tickets for graduation are multiplied beyond traditional needs . With 2 sets of parents contributing to the collegiate dream , imperative be able to accommodate min 6 tiks

Rent the stadium like other colleges do.
Just attended USNA graduation
Pre grad activities were above and beyond any I have seen and they at least gave 6 tickets for immediate family any as many general admission as you needed
Rent a venue!!!!!!!
We pay enough

CWRU can surely find a venue in Cleveland that would allow graduates to have their families attend graduation ceremonies.

I completely agree! As a rising Senior, it baffles me that a school that prides itself for it's creativity and 'thinking beyond the possible' would have such an important ceremony in such a cramped area with limited options for loved ones to see their loved ones walking accoss the stage. We can do better!!

As a student who volunteered at the
2016 CWRU graduation, I was appalled at the way the event was run and planned with the two separate rooms.
It was especially shocking in regards to the way the last few seats in the room with the graduates were handled. There were parents/family members/friends who were waiting in line to be seated in the second viewing room, and were squeezing past others to get into the main room in a quite chaotic crowd.
Secondly, as 1 of 6 kids in my family, seeing my brothers and sisters graduate and receive their diploma is a very sweet moment. It is made even more special for my entire family to be seated together and to be part of the moment together!
With a larger venue this would not be an issue at all. At the very least, future graduations ought to be held at another location where all family members/friends could purchase a ticket to attend.

I was very dissapointed to have to tell my grandparents they have to watch the ceremony from an "alternative viewing location"
