We the Class of 2013 would like to petition to repeal the 5-ticket mandate. While we understand the need to ensure that each graduate has his/her most important people present, we feel it is entirely unfair to implement this rule 4 weeks before graduation. Many of our families have reserved travel and hotel reservations months in advance with the mindset attendance would be first come, first serve as it was last year. We propose that if it is the desire to revert back to the 5-ticket attendance this announcement should be made at the beginning of the academic year.
