This is an outrage! Do better; these adults pay an outrageous fee for your already overpriced school for subpar resources. The LMU gets so much money per student, and the fact that these graduates can’t have a book to remember their matriculation is shameful. They spent so much time, effort, and the degradation of their mental health for this school, and the fact that LMU can’t (won’t) spend a few hundred dollars for a program is appalling. Give them something to remember the time. It honestly would be better too. Think about it, if you don’t give them this then they will have a sour taste in their mouth and not tell others to go to this school. Plus they use rental and musty regalia, which is crazy

As an alum, I fully support this petition. Graduation is a meaningful milestone, and a physical program is a small but important part of that experience—for both students and their families. Given that students have paid full tuition along with a graduation fee, it’s reasonable to expect this tradition to be upheld. I hope the administration will reconsider and provide programs to properly recognize this achievement - this is an unfortunate decision by LMU and I highly encourage there to be a reconsideration.

Absolutely deplorable. You BARELY prepare students for the bar, subject them to senseless electives, and now you deny them programs for your $500 “graduation fee”…….do better! I’m even more embarrassed to be an alum.

As a 2016 graduate, I support the Class of 2026 in requesting printed graduation programs instead of QR codes. Graduation is a meaningful milestone, and a physical program is an important keepsake that allows all guests to fully participate, regardless of technology access.

Older guests have difficulty with QR codes in general and also cannot see very well. Law School is a huge, expensive investment that the college should at least show how proud they are of their graduates by printout the graduation programs for guests and keepsakes for the graduates.
