I worked hard to get high honors. It would be nice to be recognized for something.

I graduated last year from Cleveland. Sitting in one of the front rows of my graduating class is a memory I will always appreciate. Though it seems insignificant, being called before others for academic achievement and hard work is a part of graduation that should never be taken away.

I don't even go here and I think its stupid that Cleveland is trying to not recognize the hard working students that have earned honors/high honors.

Students with honors need to be given recognition because they have earned those honors. They spent the time and effort to earn their higher than average grades. Its called being rewarded for your dedication and effort. This is not right.

I worked really hard to be at the top of my class and to earn high honors. I even took ten classes this year to do so and I want to be recognized for this.

Those that prosper academically already get little to no recognition by Cleveland, graduation is a time when us who work hard want to be bragged upon and for our friends and families to see what we strived so hard for. Being able to walk before everyone else may seem like a small feat, but it is the same concept of having graduation cords. A little recognition goes a long way.
