I support my daughter & her fellow classmates in asking to be formally recognized in some form of in-person ceremony. I believe if just a little creativity, effort and careful consideration was given to this situation, it can be done with dignity.

As adults we are capable of making wise choices concerning how to keep ourselves healthy. If we can go to HEB and Walmart we can surely go to this very important One-time event in our daughters life.

majority of us are in in-person classes (not by choice) and we should be able to graduate with our peers who we’ve already been around

If the local high schools held in person graduation ceremonies (in the summer heat no less), I think a college can take educated steps to honor their graduates.

I want my daughter to have the memory of walking the stage she fought so hard to get to. And her mother and father want to join her in this happy moment!

Lockhart High School gave their graduating class a Covid-conscious ceremony. TLU should reward their grads too.

If the graduation is held on the track field and limiting the number of invited attendees, social distancing can be achieved. All y'all have to do is make

Why deprive hardworking students of this? They literally meet in person? And everyone goes to grocery stores. It’s not mandatory. If people don’t feel it’s safe they wouldn’t have to attend. 10/10 they deserve a graduation. So did I.
