I think that students should be graded on effort because you have to think of it as your in the students shoes. Students have multiple teachers giving them work a day and only having limited time and I do not think it is fair giving students bad grades because something was late or not finished or they didn't get a certain amount of questions right. Students are also having to stay up late to get work done. The student might not be focused, maybe they need a little more help expessially since they are doing online school it is much harder to get them the help they need and me personally I say no grades at all because they are atending class and they are giving it their best shot or at least trying. Giving student bad grades sre not making kids fill any better about themselves. I am a teacher and I want my kids coming in well rested, perpared, and happy to be in my class. In cunclosion students should be graded by effort.
