Ofqual have changed the way English GCSE's are marked, meaning 20% of coursework, which has already been done, doesn't count anymore and now the exams at the end of the year count for 60% instead of 40%. The part of the coursework that have been taken out are speaking and listening tasks, where students would prepare a speech of sorts and deliver it to in class, answering questions from them, after studying their topic extensively.
