ZONING VARIANCE PETITION There is a pressing situation at 124 Gant Quarters Lane that could negatively impact our neighborhood. The owner wants to turn this property into an income property for several renters, and has asked the county for a zoning variance to allow him to legally to rent to several college students currently occupying this home. At present, the residents are in violation of the county code, which does not allow more than two unrelated people in a dwelling. If granted, the variance would allow each renter their own car. Neighbors have already complained about these renters speeding in the neighborhood. If the county allows this variance, this precedent could permit future homes in the Gant Quarters and Millbrook Farm neighborhood to be rented to multiple unrelated roommates. We have a better chance of defeating this request if the HOA asks the county not to allow it. Please join your neighbors in signing a petition against this variance request.

The speeding on our street is already out of control. Adding more renters who dont care about the area is a huge mistake.

This is ridiculous. I moved to this neighborhood so I wouldnt have to worry about this kind of mess. Say no to the variance.

I hope the county listens to us. We have enough parking and traffic issues as it is.

Rules are there for a reason. Keep our zoning laws as they are.

Keep the neighborhood quiet. We dont need more traffic and cars parked everywhere. Deny the request.

NOT COOL. They are already breaking the rules, why reward them?
