Regional health care has been the most traumatising degrading experience of my lifetime A simple health problem turned into a life destroying prolonged nightmare caused by the health care professionals who should have helped me when I was vulnerable however they bullied me relentlessly and intentionally caused me harm mentally and physically for 7 long years until they broke me completely I died nearly literally and only survived because fortunately my self esteem was in tact to this day their substandard treatment of me is still destroying my life I now have chronic health issues going from bad to certain death however I am committed to finding my way back to good health since COVID and telehealth sadly my community is not surviving and I can’t live with that so I am now committed to exposing the healthcare professionals and the systems they exploit despite the consequences on my future healthcare because telehealth is my lifeline to good health but it’s tragic when you cannot afford to get help you need because of money Regional patients need urgent intervention by medicare to fund their right to access the highest standard of healthcare in the world that Australia the lucky country has

I believe the cost of accessing these Doctors providing essential services for many woman suffering from Menopause need to be rebateable

I work reception in a regional medical centre and feel that telehealth appointment are worth their weight in gold!!

Telehealth allows everyone to an equal quality of care -essential for remote areas

This is so important to rural people.

For those of us isolated by distance, telehealth has been a godsend during Covid and is the only way to bring comparable healthcare to regional and rural areas.

I'm the sole carer of a child with autism, telehealth is the only way to access medical advice.

It is so important to get the help you need in life for whatever the symptoms. Many woman cannot afford menopause services and they crucial in getting us through one of the most difficult times of our lives. Mental health is very important, and menopause has the capacity to drastically effect it...Please make it easier and more afford for woman to access the help anytime...Please!!!!

We have greater access to care via telehealth, location is not an issue, if unwell I don't need to reschedule, I can access health professionals all over the state

Telehealth Consultations are an important and convenient method of receiving medical treatment. Please continue with Medicare rebates.

The only way I can see Dr Teague is via Telehealth, as she is in Sydney and I am in WA. There is no other option for me.

Menopause happens to all women who reach mid life. Given the correct support menopause need not impact work life, mental health or physical impairment which are huge financial burdens on the economy in general. The cost of preventative and early intervention is far far less than the costs of lost productivity, and poor mental and physical health resulting in dependence on government supports. If for no other reason it makes sound economic sense to fund universal menopause treatments and consultations. Even if you don’t care about your mother, wife, daughter, grandmother or any other woman anywhere… funding consultations, treatments, medications and early interventions will result in a better bottom line on the tax payers purse.

I am living in a small country town in Western Australia and rely on services such as this. There should be ongoing Medicare rebates.

This is a wonderful service. I live in Sydney & would not have been able to see Dr Teagle without the option of Telehealth as her practice is in the ACT. During Covid I have had many Telehealth calls on my laptop, they are great. No driving, not having to sit in a surgery with sick people etc.

This service is desperately needed. Most of the population in regional/ rural areas do not even have access to a GP.

Women need this to keep up with their busy lives looking after family and also to keep on working.

Telehealth for all people in all situations, especially vulnerable, carers, elderly and unwell, who find it more difficult to travel.

We dont choose to go through menopause, please make this a more affordable option so we can seek help for our symptoms
