Governor Ron DeSantis, we demand you remove Satcher immediately and appoint Scott Farrington as our Manatee County Supervisor of Elections

He has got to go. He’s ruining the trust we’ve always had in our election system here in ManateeCounty. The people spoke at the voting booth and we can not and in this case, should not wait till after the election

November is a very important vote. It is critical to have an experienced person handling our votes in Manatee County.

Putting him in this position was a bad decision on Gov DeSantis's part. His record so far in spending and firing people speaks for itself. He has been voted out in the primary and will compromise the integrity of this upcoming election with his actions. He should be removed immediately and allow Scott Farrington back in the office to handle the upcoming election with his years of experience and integrity. I'd like to know my vote counts.

Please remove James Satcher as Supervisor of Elections in Manatee County. He was never remotely qualified for this position. I am a temporary poll worker because I place a high value on free and fair elections. I am a patriot and cherish our freedoms, among which the right to vote is foremost. Mr. Bennett, our previous Supervisor, was very knowledgeable, professional, unbiased, and ran a tight ship. Mr. Satcher came in and seemed to immediately want to make his mark, without understanding the details of the system. But pissing on experienced employees and disregarding mandatory procedures for purchases is not the way to make your presence as the new boss. It is critical that you act now if you are to insure that we have transparent and well-managed election in November. It would not look good if for the first time in memory, Manatee County has failed elections due to an incompetent supervisor appointed by the Governor. We are a largely Republican county and in the primaries Republicans voted to get rid of the arrogant and self-righteous commissioners who reported to the developers rather than voters. If Satcher were still a commissioner and up for election, he would have lost easily. Please do the right thing and remove Satcher now. He can resign to be with good family or whatever reason he prefers. Scott Farrington is a solid and knowledgeable professional who can set things right in time for the November election. Remove James Satcher now! Manatee County voters deserve a nonpartisan SOE they can trust with the upcoming November election. Mr. Satchers removal needs to be as quick as was his appointment, which never should have happened!!!

Please remove Mr. Satcher who has reviled himself to be not only incompetent, but petty in one of our most important county offices. Thank you.

Gov DeSantis made a mistake appointing an inexperienced, uneducated Satcher to this key role. He has overspent while firing needed staff. I received duplicate registration cards, only days apart, wasting tax dollars. Please replace Satcher with someone competent, Mr. DeSantis.
