I strongly support districts being drawn on geographic/locality basis instead of purely political reasons. I believe this will help the community work together to provide appropriate government.

Governor: Do what is right. Many districts are disfunctional due to the crazily drawn lines. Make the General Assembly fix this.

Someone needs to stop the destructive agenda of the GOP. They keep saying the people want them to do all this, but we didn't? I agree, gerrymandering is just another form of voter suppression. And while you are fixing this, get the damn Atlantic Pipe line out of our very beautiful state. Why is our state being raped so that the oil can be sold overseas? The few jobs it creates won't last, but the environmental damage is forever. It only benefits big oil.

Gerrymandering is one of the biggest threats to democracy in our state. We absolutely need redistricting reform. Ideally, a non-partisan computer algorithm would draw community based districts.

Let's get busy and do things right.

Will the GOP stop at nothing to shove their agenda down our throats? Do they want to reinstate slavery in Virginia? While they are at it, why not deny women the right to vote? I put nothing past them and will never vote GOP again for any reason. They have lost my vote forever.

I support a special session of the legislature to fix once and for all this gerrymandering issue that is killing our democracy.

I remember learning in civics class many years ago that gerrymandering was a very bad thing. It is still a very bad thing. We need reform now.

Please end this practice that is an anathema to true democracy. The USA will fail, like the Roman Empire, if we do not reinstate ethical practices and fairly-implemented justice for all.
