Governor McAuliffe -- Virginia Needs Redistricting Reform!

Dear Governor McAuliffe, Virginia needs commonsense legislative reform to fix Gerrymandering. Thank you for your help with this important issue.

We have needed this for a long time. Those of you in the Va Gen Assembly need to remember. We will do our research and we will know how you vote and deal with this matter. And 2018 is just around the corner. We will vote you out of office! We are awake and watching you.

This is vitally important for those of us in the 5th District. This district is so gerrymandered that it stretches from the Washington DC area to Danville in the far Southern part of the state. There is little or nothing in the way of common interests and concerns in this extremely diversified area.

We support reducing gerywanderring.

Iowa has solved this issue by using a computer to make the decisions.

I believe that the drawing of the district lines should be done by those least politically motivated. Our government is not a sporting event where one teams wins and the other loses. For us all to win, we need to quit thinking this way and stop all of this divisiveness. Collaboration and cooperation. That is why I call myself an independent!

Properly drawn districts bring good government which we all deserve

Please create fair districts in Virginia. A representative government is part of our democracy.

Gerrymandering is killing democracy all over the US. Let's make Virginia a model for how non-partisan redistricting can work to revive it. And let's see who in our legislature really supports true representative government.
