Governor Mark Dayton: Please proclaim June 14th as Grandparent Alienation Awareness Day for Minnesota's children and families!

No child should be alienatated from their grandparent. It's disgusting form of cowardice and abuse!!!!

I will smile again the day I am reunited with my oldest granddaughter

My grandson's mom is using the laws meant for abused women to keep my grandson and his dad apart. At the same time, she is also keeping me from him as well. The laws need to be changed because the children are suffering. My grandson is so mixed up from all that has happened, my goal has always been to let him know how much I love him & how much a part of my heart he is no matter what. Every child deserves as much unconditional love as they can get. Parents who use the children as pawns should be as punished as the Father's who want NOTHING to do with their children. Currently, parents AND grandparents are being alienated out of spite and the laws allows it.

Please help grandparents who adore their grandchildren and just want to visit their babies with the life they have left.

I live in North Dakota. I am alienated from my 3 year old grand daughter, a daughter from my draghter who was & still is alienated from me as well as her 17 year old brother. This has been going on since 2010. My mother is also alienated from the great grand daughter & 2 grand children. Laws need to change & people need to start talking about this to bring awareness to what everyone goes through one way or another. I have started a business in ND called Empower Over Alienation to bring awareness to parent & grandparent alienation which are both forms of bullying.

i am grieving a granddaughter that is still alive.

this hits close to home. I am an alienated Grandparent. I miss my grandson.

We currently have visitation rights with our grandson, however a constant battle with excuses from his mother for us to be able to keep our visits. Kansas needs one of these days for sure.
