My families adoption has been held up 18 days waiting for our home study to be approved or Gov Rauner's signature so DCFS approval is not needed.
An Illinois military has been waiting since May 15 for their home study. They are being re-located in February. Every day that they have to wait raises the risk that their adoption will not be finalized in time.
