Gov. Newsom: Please declare Auto Dealerships as Essential Businesses during the lockdown

We need your help NOW . Out cash flow is zero and bills need paid

Please move auto dealers to the essential list. There are people who need a vehicle and no way to get to work.

People need the ability to replace cars that are too old and unsafe. In addition public transportation is very crowded and unsafe.

I firmly believe that car sales are an essential need. If my car is wrecked I need to be able to replace it without leaving the state

I am a small dealer in a small town with a trusting clientel. Social distancing is not a problem and our detailers are up to the task of sanitizing the vehicles. People need us in difficult times. They trust us and don't want to go elsewhere.

More essential than a cup of coffee at Starbucks Helping people get to work when they get in accidents or break down

We need to be able to sell doctors nurses firemen policemen vehicles also grocery store employees gas station employees all essential workers

The automobile industry is the leading industry in America which supports an infrastructure of peripheral business unlike no other.

We are an essential business.

I also would like to hear from dealers that qualify for the ppp loan and their bank is Wells Fargo if they got help already because I been told by Wells Fargo to wait and be patient to apply the only response back is an email saying that they will contact me to let me know when I can apply and I been listening to the news that the government is almost out of money I need some help on this and I don’t know who I can reach out to thank you.

Car Sales has an effect on many Industries and is much more important than funding illegals with my tax dollars!!

People need transportation!

Cars aren't optional for residents of Ca. When a vehicle doesn’t make economic sense to repair, owners must purchase a replacement vehicle. The idea that buying cars is nonessential demonstrates a lack of basic understand of how our society functions. If your car isn’t working, it’s suddenly your family’s biggest problem.

Everyone needs to be able feed there family and I know that many jobs are shut down due to safety reasons but the automotive industry is needed for many reasons. Please let them work.

Please keep car dealers open for essential transportation needs.
