He was the DA at the time of my sons case and my son wasn't given a fair trial and he was inadequately represented. After he was brought up on his charges I filed on my sons behalf with the Attorney General legal department and never heard anything back and I'm still fighting to get my sons case reviewed to get him home with his family. Does anyone have any advice for me

As a long time Lee County resident I am shocked and dismayed. If an investigation has not been started already into these cases under Brandon Hughes cases, please begin immediately!

Please consider that law enforcement and some governmental employees have become entitled and have an idea that they are above the law. This is not ok! How can the people be expected to follow rules that law makers are seemingly exempt from. Justice is the opportunity for people to turn from their ways as well, which is not considered anymore.

I break down everything walls borders n chains that have bern used against these kids lie’s n for those that have done the evil things to be exposed for there falsehood. N let them be exposed to shame

I think at the very least this case should be looked into for any possible misconduct. I personally think that would go a long way to restoring faith and or preserving the faith in our justice system
