The people of Illinois spoke and voted for Donald Trump. Bruce Rauner brushed our votes aside and refused to endorse our presidential candidate. If he does not change his mind, we will vote him out in the next election. Until then, he needs to know we are serious.

I have finalized a formal letter addressed to the Governor's office outlining our specific grievances regarding his refusal to align with the electoral outcome. Copies of this correspondence have been sent to local political correspondents to ensure they understand that this lack of support is being monitored. Our next objective is to organize a meeting with his regional staff to convey the urgency of this position.

The volume of engagement confirms that our demand for accountability has reached a critical threshold. I am currently drafting a formal letter to the Governor outlining our position and will be scheduling a meeting with his legislative liaison to deliver this feedback directly.

Governor: if you cannot support the will of the people who have, without a doubt, spoken volumes as to whom they have chosen as the Republican nominee, Mr. Donald J. Trump, then you sir, are NOT, by any means, a trustworthy, viable representative.
