Governor Bill Lee, reverse your decision on the Refugee Resettlement Program

Please do not let anymore come to TN. We need to help our homegrown first.

I voted for you and we already have enough illegals in our community.

Take care of our citizens first. When we’ve housed all our vets and fed all the hungry legal citizens then we’ll talk about the rest of the world.

Mr. Lee, it is your privilege and duty to take care of those US citizens within your state first and foremost. Our veterans, homeless, elderly, mentally ill, addicted, orphaned, and hard working natural born and legalized citizens should take precedence over illegal immigrants. The monies used to transfer, house, clothe, provide medical and a host of other assistance they would require, would go a long way to help your constituents and improve the quality of life for many impoverished /struggling Tennesseans. I have many concerns about assimilation, safety, health of the community as well. Do the right thing and take care of our hurting citizens first please. Mr. Lee you of all people should know the effects immigrates have on our state ( any state ) the difference is the ones that come here to work do some part in growth of our state. The “resettlement” program is nothing more than a hand out which few or none will even work thus living on the backs of Tennessee taxpayers add nothing but burden upon the state ,cities and counties receiving these refugees. Is rather my money be spent elsewhere, like construction and trades education. Again you of all people should see and understand this. Make TN a place where companies want to build, help some of our small historical small towns stay alive and grow. I say No to this program.
