As most years, when the popular website gametrailers.com announces the Game of The Year a lot of people complain. Mostly this is due to the personal opinion from people and even fanboyism. The GOTY awards of 2009 are different! While COD: Modern Warfare2 was an excellent game it had many flaws, and especially for PC: no dedicated servers, no mod support, clearly a bad console port. It destroyed the whole competitive community around the series for PC, Infinity Ward clearly ignored it’s PC roots while developing this game. I, and many other people, can easily see it winning for console, it never deserved to win on PC! This is outrageous! While most are already complaining on gametrailers.com, this will probably just get ignored by the GT staff that probably expected this to happen.
