Do not allow Plainmoor to be developed - keep it for TUFC. PAFC fan.

I played on this ground a couple of times as a schoolboy at TBGS. It has to remain as the focal point for the town's football team and inspire future Torquay youngsters.

I started taking my son to Torquay and all around the country watching them from Taunton every week. Torquay United is much more than a football club, it is a community. The previous track record and intentions of GI speak for themselves and any decision to grant them the freehold of plainmoor regardless of their intentions is a betrayal to the fans and community. If the mayor and council were truly acting in the best interests of the club they wouldn't even entertain this idea. If they do grant the freehold they will forever be held accountable for their actions. A passionate and loyal Torquay United supporter without an ego and with a concience. Alan jones

Leave Torquay alone - the club has done a huge amount for Torquay and should be saluted and supported!

I will support all efforts to keep Torquay at Plainmoor. A club in Torquay is an important part of the community and a historic and traditional ground like Plainmoor is a priority over short term gain from a housing project.

Save Torquay United it's the heart of the town where most locals go and support there local team. It's about time this town listened to it's people instead of other people who don't live here

There's more to a community than just housing. Such a shame to see 100 yrs of history go down the pan for greedy property developers.

Football teams are part of a towns identity. They also bring attention to that town, which would be worth a fortune if paid for. TUFC need to survive
