The borough of Torbay has little to encourage sport at all and to lose a football club would be another nail in the coffin.

Been a Gulls fan for 21 years since I was 7. Supporting a local football team gave me a passion for football that will stay with me for the rest of my life. I have met people around the world where local football and Torquay United has been a great topic of discussion and has helped me build so many relationships with people from different walks of life. I want the next generations of children in Torbay to also enjoy having a local club to support, and to enjoy similar experiences to those I had attending games with my father.
Very sad to think the mayor may turn his back on so many people within the area and allow Plainmoor to be released to property developers who will ensure the death of the club. Please don't, and please stand up for the people that love this club - which is many people, both in the local area and the many exiles throughout the country.

Saw Torquay draw 3 all with Tottenham in 1965 just before I moved to New Zealand. Have followed them ever since. Would hate to see them fold

The track record provides me with no confidence that GI has the best interests of the club or the Torbay community as a whole. It is very apparent that he motives of this company are questionable. Even the outgoing chairman stated that they were "poor bed fellows"!

Moved to Torquay in the late 80's because I was fascinated by years of seeing the football results showing Torquay playing Evening kick offs on a Saturday Night. The club suffer because there is such strong local amateur football and rugby influence on Saturdays. Do not let this club go under !!

As a imps fan and a football fan i don't want to see another club face oblivion when it is totalky needless to deprive the Gulls of their stadium.
