Lcal politicians should do their best to help Torquay survive, football is important to the community. As a O's fan I understand what it is like for a club to be ruined by people who do not care about the club and or fans.

I am a notts county supporter but I've been to watch Torquay a few times when down on holiday it's a proper club with proper fans

I think the current ground is an excellent facility, especially the new stand. The ground is not particularly large and not many houses could be built on it. The area would also become very congested which would not be good for the existing residents. I played football on the Willows site in the 60's/70's and it was put out of action due to the waste coming to the surface. E.g tin cans. It is not the ideal place to put a new football pitch.

Torquay is our club, Plainmoor is our home, not just a plot of land to be built on to give others housing/shops, it's our home.
United we stand in Yellow and Blue forever.
