This community has already lost a great school, Stoodley Knowle, and its grammar schools face reduced funding. At some point someone has to realise the true value of sports and what it teaches and provides to young people. The direction, discipline and social opportunities. Losing the towns football club, and home, simply must not be allowed to happen. Torbay is a special place, but it's councillors and mayor must recognise their civil responsibilities and not be mislead into thinking any short term section 106 agreement and revenue from the sale of Plainmoor, can come close to matching the sociological impact of losing TUFC.

Why haven't the TUFC supporters got a say in the future of the club ? If the mayor represents the supporters , he should find out what they want first before making any decisions . If he doesn't represent the supporters why does he have any say about the clubs future?

I love this football club indefinitely but this isn't just about Torquay United, it's about football in general. These people have to be stopped, the regularity of these situations is so alarming.

If you allow this sale to go through, you will be involved in the end of TUFC. It's your town's football club. Come on Mr Mayor, do what is right.

From a Plymouth Argyle fan who knows what it's like for your club to nearly go out of business. I speak for many of Argyle fans who are watching & hoping everything works out. Good luck.
