As a Charlton fan I am more than aware of the absolute crooks in football.
This owner clearly thinks because he owns a non-league side he can get away with destroying their spiritual home!
Shame on them.
Mr Mayor you have an obligation to protect this community!

This club has been part of the South Devon community for nearly 100 years. Do not sell out and allow GI to destroy a vital part of the town!

Torquay United must be saved and the freehold should not be sold for a short term cash benefit. The club brings in so much revenue to the local economy that any freehold bonus would soon be wiped out in the medium term. And you can never under estimate the community benefits having a football club brings to the area. Torquay United must be saved.

There is enough space around Torquay to buy and to put houses on. Don't eliminate the heart of Torquay.
