Fab place to come to, keep the ground, it belongs to Torquay United

A series of mishaps and good intentions have left Torquay United vulnerable to property developers, a story familiar to Bay-dwellers in other contexts. A council full of estate agents and, yes, property developers are poorly cast as the last line of defence in the battle of Plainmoor. If they get things as muddled and disordered as they have done over Oldway, for example, I fear United will be homeless long before a replacement pitch is built.

Torquay needs and benefits from a professional football club which throughout it's life has brought a huge amount of income into the local economy.

Bristol Rovers fan saying that Plainmoor belongs to the town and to TUFC. We were thrown out of Eastville Stadium by Clarke Osborne and took us years to steady the ship. Don't let him do it again!

As a Shrewsbury fan I have plenty of reasons to hate Torquay - but I also grew up in Devon and was ball boy at Plainmoor many times. The TUFC fans deserve better than this.

My first visit to Plainmoor was in Nov 1989, I don't want 2017 to be the last time. G I and anyone like them have intention of looking after the town, the club, then fans or anyone other than themselves! Please see them for what they are!
TUFC has been through the mill over the last few years but it can bounce back, if GI continue there may be nothing left to bounce!
Forever blue and yellow, Adrian.

It's all looking a bit tight for TUFC right now, but they need to stay at Plainmoor until they are on a more even keel. Mr Oliver - do not sell the ground!
