Goosepond Island P-2 Rezoning Opposition

Lots 189 and 190 - The Oaks

Please do not allow the rezoning of this property to P-2 because it will destroy the character of our neighborhood.

This will take away the value of our properties. Many of us moved to this area to enjoy the current type of community we live in. Do we really have the infastructure to support all this? I'm will to say no. Lets not turn Goosepond into just another housing/subdivision area.

Please leave things as they are

I bought my property with the current zoning and I do not want it changed!

These developers aren't even from the area. They do not care about the impact to our communities, safety or environment. This rezoning is not fair to the homeowners who have invested in these communities and paid taxes in the county.

No way can we stand by and let our neighborhood be Devalued. Most of us either built, ir bought in this neighborhood, to get away from developments such as what they are wanting to do. We must unit together

There is enough other available land for development in Scottsboro that could be used for this purpose that would not have the negative impact to not only neighborhoods but also the environment. Having this increase in traffic would negatively impact the wildlife in the area, not to mention all the trees that would be removed.

I believe the current zoning is best for the character of the neighborhood and changing to a denser zoning or allowing commercial development would be detrimental to the hundreds of owners on Goosepond Island who have invested to make GPI their home. Lot 82 Promenade

Please vote against this rezoning. Added congestion on already stressed infrastructure and property values are our main concerns. But also realize that many of us bought and built in this community due to the serenity and loveliness of area. Rezoning to multiuse would destroy that.
