I live in Locust Grove, Virginia, 22508. I have lived here for 5 years and still have no internet options outside of satellite. It is very frustrating to not have anything. Comcast and verizon refuse to service my area because it is not profitable for them. Please service this area

Internet is essential in today's society; everything we do, everything we know, is in some way - no matter how small - influenced by our connectivity to the vast wealth of knowledge provided by the infobahn. Unfortunately, many corners of America are denied that connectivity, often having to settle for ridiculously high prices for less than a megabyte per second download speed or, worse, none at all. For those that CAN get connected, they are often forced into unfair contracts by companies who thrive on shady business tactics and monopolization of an area's resources (I'm looking at you, Comcast). We need a choice. We deserve other options. It's time to break apart the empires of these modern day Carnegies and Rockefellers and give the power of choice back to the People.
