We, as concerned residents of the neighborhoods nearest the planned Goodman Commerce Center in the city of Eastvale, California, ask the City Council to vote against the proposed plan for Mega Warehouses to be built in the southern panhandle of Eastvale.The property boundariesare Bellegrave to the south, Hamner to the west, Cantu Galleano to the north and the 15 freeway to the east. We ask the City Council to take into consideration the concerns of its residents when voting. Our concerns are that: 1.) Mega Warehouses are not in the best interests of our city. 2.) Mega Warehouses will likely not provide any significant economic support (Jobs and Sales tax revenue) to our city, unlike what has been presented. 3.) Mega Warehouses do not match the common development goals of the City of Eastvale, or the nearby plans for the City of Ontario. 4.) Mega warehouses do not address the needs of our city which are: Good jobs, Reduced Commutes, Office Space, Access to Medical Facilities and Great Schools.
