We the undersigned respectfully ask you to abandon your plans for a Bass Pro store in downtown Buffalo. We appreciate your thoughts and your efforts, but it is very clear this project just can\'t work, and we as a community need to move on. We have faith in our ability to find new ideas for our downtown and our waterfront, and we simply can\'t wait any longer. We believe the era of the mega-project, the single saving solution for a city, is now over. It is time for smaller, more do-able community based projects to take their place. We ask you Sirs, to finally let it go and let us focus on new ideas that can really happen.
The silence from the company is frustrating but it only confirms that we have to keep pushing for our vision of the waterfront. I am exhausted by the constant uphill climb yet I am not walking away from this fight because our city deserves better than outdated, massive projects.

Reaching this point has been a long and draining process that forced me to question if anyone was actually listening. Seeing so many of you join this effort provides the fuel I need to keep pushing against these stubborn plans. I am exhausted by the fight but knowing I am not alone makes the path ahead feel possible.

Buffalo doesnt need another big box store taking up space downtown. Lets focus on local businesses instead.
