I'm against for low speeds vehicles in public transportation

I'm an Uber driver against low speeds vehicles for public transport..

They creating traffic

Saftey should always come first. Golf carts or slow moving vehicles shouldn't be used as a public transportation. They aren't safe and they are also crowding the street.

They cause traffic, and they are not even save for the community.

Golf carts have created so many traffic headaches for many drivers. I feel they are unsafe and belong on the Golf Course or in Quiet Neighborhoods where they are less likely to get themselves hurt due to the heavy traffic that is very evident in downtown Nashville....

Hello people my name is Leo and I've been driving a taxi since 1980 here in Nashville I've never seen anything like it with Uber Lyft golf cart taxi and bicycle taxis all running around downtown Nashville with no sense at all I know this is only a small step to get rid of the golf cart taxi but I believe they're very dangerous and I've even heard stories of golf cart tipping over on the customers there's no protection from the rain or the cars and I would hate to see somebody get hurt on one people come to Nashville to have fun listen to music and have a little bit to drink and once we get a reputation of people getting hurt and also who wants to ride on a golf cart in the winter time when its 30,40 degrees outside I don't know what we can do to fix this problem but I believe we better do something as a group before some people it hurts not knowing no better riding on the golf carts because they are all amateurs and know nothing about public transportation life of taxi drivers do it's our livelihood

Unsafe and the golf carts create traffick

They very unsafe. I have passed them on the road downtown and one about hit me trying to pass me. Now if some people have had been on it they would of fell off with the way he swerved.

They are very unsafe in the way they leave in and out of traffic tells me and shows me they are all amateurs on public transportation do they even have to go through a courtesy class or learn anything about how 2 work in public transportation I guess it will take somebody getting in a wreck and killing somebody before Metro Government takes a serious about this and it's sad to say because I would think the government would want to stop someone from getting hurt in the first place but I guess not in this case

It is very dangerous and the customers have no protection and if they ever get into an accident I always see them riding on the back with no seat belts I've even heard stories of them falling off I don't even know if they have Commercial Insurance in case they do get somebody hurt so I believe it's in the best interest of the city to stop them from operating especially in city limits of Nashville Tennessee they're always loading people in the middle of the road and they did not know the first thing about public transportation and also in the wintertime who wants to ride in a golf cart with it being 40 degrees outside and I ain't going to lie I splashed one of them like you would not believe when I hit a puddle one day they have no protection from the rain and no protection from the other cars at all when gas maskI guess it will take somebody getting hit and getting killed and then Metro Government will start to care about people hit the gas

I'm against allowing slow golf carts to operate on the streets of Nashville. They are unsafe, smell very bad, aggresive drivers, and spew harmful un-burned gasoline in air.
