There are more important things in the world than Eurovision – pretty much all of them in fact. But every year this horrific pageant comes around to baffle, haunt and entertain us. And every year the UK’s entry tries very hard to be like all of the other European entries. The only problem is that it goes against everything this country stands for to do so. I say that we take an irreverent, humorous and ultimately British (or in this case Welsh) stab at it – at the very least for the sake of our own sanity. The creative possibilities are limitless – they could ‘self-censor’ by vocalising bleeps in place of expletives.
