The problem is due to parents parking on the road / pavement outside the residents homes, the residents can’t get off their drives to park on the road because their drives are blocked

Fully support this. A child will get hurt if nothing is done. Pavement parking on nearby streets needs to be looked at to (clewortg rd)

My Parent's live nearby and the traffic is horrendous. Parent's think it's okay to dump their cars anywhere as they are on "The School Run" not acceptable at all especially when they park in both sides therefore narrowing the road ad flow of traffic even further

This would work wonders for school drop off. At the minute it is so dangerous

The situation currently is very unsafe however i doubt this would stop some people from driving/parking with no regards for others using the pavements or roads. It depends on how far the one way system goes and how it is monitored.

As a resident i agree something needs to happen. But one way at certain times is confusing. Parking permits for residents only and one way all the time would be better. Maybe staggered start and finish times. A combination of schemes is probably needed

I honestly cannot believe the things I’ve witnessed whilst walking up to school, one car driving down the pavement of the local neighbours homes, so many close calls. Lolly pop lady is in need for the main road as well as up on Springfield Road. Head teacher is doing a brilliant job but poor lighting and chaotic people increase the risks to all.

I think it's shocking the way parents act when dropping and picking there children up from school .parking on the pavement is unacceptable we need to think about all of the children at middleton parish safety.
