Use both names-Michael Spyridon or Spyridon Michael. I find that usually you find yourself just calling the child by the name that really seems to fit them. Both names honoring the Grandparents will be of great meaning to him if you make a point to talk about the stories and qualities associated with that person that you hope your son will emulate.

Most important part of the name is the fact that it has roots within your family. I would say the same if you were considering an obscure Russian name.

I love unique names. Growing up Hayley was not a common name & I loved it. Now there are a ton of Hayley's (many different spellings) and I feel my name isn't as special now.
