it doesn't matter. The Greek community will embrace him, non-Greek kids will give him a cool nickname like Spider. If it makes your husband that happy, it should make you just as happy to give him this gift.

After listening to how the name is pronounced I think it's a fine choice. His nickname can be Spy and for any boy that will probably be very cool.
